How to make Password Protected excel file 2007

You can prevent your Excel file cell data to editing or deleting  by other user . It can locked or unlock each cell of your excel sheet . If you will  try to edit or delete cell data then it will prompt error massage " The cell or chart that you trying to change is Protected and therefore Read-only " . 

Follow these steps to make password protected excel file 2007



1. Open Your Microsoft Excel file 2007 . then Click On Review  Tab .

2. Click on Protect sheet, under Review Tab .

After click Protect sheet will be promt Protect sheet dialog Box .

3. Enter password  in the Password to Unprotect sheet: text Box .then Click Ok 

4. Now Re -enter password for Confirmation , then Click on OK .

Now your Sheet and Cell of Excel has been Protected  .

If you will try to Edit or delete cell data then it will be promt these error massage .
